The 39th Tokyo Motor Show #2 [2005/11/2]

In Tokyo Motor Show, EV, HEV, and FCV are released and displayed. It reflects each auto makerfs efforts and EV has entered the new stage.
About EV, totally new two concept showcars, Toyota I-swing, Nissan PIVO were displayed.
From Mitsubishi, and FUJI HEAVY INDUSTRIES held ridefn drive of the vehicles which adopted the new units, wheel-in-motor and laminated lithium-ion battery.
HEV booth was lively with displays and releases of each companyfs various models. One of this motor showfs feature was that Europian auto makers take a stance for positive HEV development.
About FCV, Honda showed Saloonfs concept model and stationary FC for co-generation, Toyota displayed about application sedan for future.


I-swing, like controling a robot.

PIVO, very eccentric but harmonized with originative design.

Mitsubishi MIEV is a wheel-in-motor 4WD.
high-voltage wiring is outstanding.

Radiator layout with considered aerodynamic performance.

Subaru HEVunit ,wiring is outstanding too.

Mazda also showed HEV.

Honda FCX FCV platform intend to low vehicle height.
